Tuition and values 2026/2027

Every figure for the year is published below, for day students and for dorm students, along with payment plans, discounts, and the refund schedule. Financial aid is handled separately and does not affect an admission decision.

What is included

No separate bill for the things students use daily

Tuition also covers

  • All textbooks
  • Chromebooks
  • After school clubs, with the exception of clubs organized by outside vendors
  • Weekly stay overs in Edep’s dormitory, including dinner and breakfast

Room and board also covers

  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Day students who stay over on a weekly basis have dinner and breakfast covered by tuition, so the lunch line on the table above is the only meal charge they carry.

Refund policy

If a student withdraws

All voluntary withdrawals must include a written notification in order to be considered for issuance of a refund. This applies to voluntary withdrawal as well as dismissal or suspension for academic or disciplinary reasons. Parents are responsible for the rates below in the case of withdrawal for any reason, and rates are arranged according to the quarters.

Percentages shown are the portion of tuition and boarding retained by the school.

Important notes

Four things every family should read

  • If payment is not completed at the end of the year, the school cannot provide any paperwork regarding your child’s transfer to high school.

  • Edep Academy is not responsible for transportation of students to routine doctor, counselor, or therapist appointments.

  • We encourage all parents to start a new email account for their child’s school communication.

  • Placement is made only on a student’s test scores and academic background. Arrangements are not made based on parents’ requests or students’ friendship preferences.

Cost should not decide this

Financial aid is a separate conversation

Awards range from 1% to 35% of tuition and are based solely on need. Applying for aid has no effect on an applicant’s chance of acceptance. Questions about invoices, plans, or balances go to the finance office.
